Youth Counseling Can Be Challenging

Youth Counseling Can Be Challenging. The first step of counseling is to gain the Client's trust. In the case of Youth Counseling, the counselor has to gain the trust of the Client and of the parent(s). This can be challenging when parents do not understand the counseling process. Chovan Counseling, Inc. strives to help parents understand the Youth Counseling process in order to collaborate for the best interests of the child(ren).

Youth Counseling With Kids That Have Special Needs

As a parent of a child with special needs and now a grandparent of a child with special needs, I know that seeking help is difficult. Many parents experience a feeling of grief when faced with a special needs diagnosis. But, this is the time when parents need the most support. You are not alone!

Here at Chovan Counseling, Inc. we can work together to build new ways to handle issues you experience at home, work on planning, self improvement and family relationship improvement. Trust me I know it's not easy, at one point I was as lost as you are. It took years of education and learning to come to find that simply having a person to talk to and relate with makes a world of difference.
